There is no "I" in T-E-A-M. The sum is greater than the parts. Together Everyone Achieves More. 1+1=3. What a concept!!! Having what you do be a part of something larger than just your own personal goals… Becoming part of the greatest race we know: the human race.

So how does this concept benefit me? Mi mi mi. Do re mi… we are all singing the same song….Dough re: me me me. Being selfless versus selfish can have some huge rewards. Looking to help thy neighbor and teammates, versus just yourself will payoff greater dividends long-term, and will help us all!

Often in a sports environment the home run hitter or best relief pitcher will get the glory and media exposure. Occasionally they will acknowledge their family support, coaches, and all the little pieces of the puzzle necessary to succeed. Usually if they are over -achievers personally but the team is not a champion, they would trade in personal glory for team success. It really is lonely at the top, and winning as a team has a feeling that snowballs into more and more.

Being a superstar is one thing, but being part of the whole team is the real payoff, when everyone can feel the pride and joy….and not resent the overachiever who cares not for the "little people". If the batboy misplaces the magic bat, that has consequences too. We do whatever is necessary to succeed, and everyone is important, and all the little details behind the scene are what make the difference between winners and losers.

We are all pieces in this puzzle in the game of life. Become part of the human race, the race to the finish. Do not be the last empty space in this giant puzzle. Step up and do your part for the greater whole: the world. United We Stand. Divided We Fall. Find your higher purpose and help others to use what they are blessed with. Look at what you can do for others. Live from love and move towards what you want. Be happy and productive. Balance your work, health, family and social life so that you can actually enjoy the goals you are working for.
